Named after somebody's grandmother.
Eldica Joachim came to Britain from Trinidad and Tobago in 1946. Her granddaughter Annie opened a stall on Bradbury Street around 2000, trading mirrors and mosaics, and named it after her.
Annie's husband Andy — a record collector since 1984 — started bringing in his own vinyl. The stock took over, and the shop became a record shop. Andy and Annie still run it.
A monthly show on Soho Radio.
Andy plays a set for Soho Radio most months — the latest went out 31 May 2026.
